Today's Prayer

Be Aware Of Unbelieving Heart (Hebrews 3:12-13)

“See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.” (Hebrews 3:12-13)

Every Christian did experience the love of Jesus in his or her life. 

Some days we feel like our goals are set, our dreams are fulfilled and our health is good. 

We see many miracles He did in our lives and many times He interfered to save us from crises, and we stay consistent with our faith routines. 

But when suddenly chaos strikes, a crisis hits, our plans are unravel, and our dreams get disrupted, we immediately get scared and feel lost and sadness fills us with despair. 

Though Jesus answered our prayers many times and changed our situations and healed our sicknesses many times, yet most of us choose fear over faith. 

When the world feels chaotic, when our thoughts spiral, and our hope feels shaky, it is usually a sign that fear and disbelief are in our deep entity. 

This kind of fear is more than hesitation, it is a sin. 

It is a mistrust of Jesus’ power to save and a denial to His love that we experienced many times in our lives. 

In these moment all what we need to do is to run to Jesus not to call anyone to talk to.

Because in seasons of chaos, only Jesus’ voice that has the power to calm us and give us the guidance and wisdom to what to do.

He is the only One who steady our hearts and provide clarity. 

We need to be alert and quickly realign with Jesus and go quickly to Him and covered with His precious blood for protection. 

If we are in a storm right now, we must take our eyes off the waves and fix our gaze on Jesus our savior.

When life feels chaotic, uncertain, or overwhelming, we quickly assume that something is gone wrong and panic.

But Jesus promised us many times in the gospel that He will never leave us or forsake us.

He is working for our good and inviting us into deeper trust in Him and His protection. 

In this life we need to trust more deeply in Jesus’ love for us, and to grow more in faith and to lean on Him not our understanding and wisdom.

Amen.
