Today's Prayer

Prayer To Be Filled With The Holy Spirit

Dear Lord,

I am feeling empty.

I am feeling spiritually dry and thirsty for Your presence in me. 

Even though my life is very busy and filled with activities, yet I still feel I am missing something. 

I realized that without You Lord, I feel empty. 

You are the source of my life. 

My deepest need is for Your presence.

You are the only way for me to feel satisfied.

Without You, Lord, I cannot feel satisfied, happy, or even stable.

I need Your help to overcome this feeling of dryness.

Please meet me where I am and help me to develop the feeling of longing for Your presence in me. 

To feel I am thirsty for You and seeking to have a good relationship with You. Draw me closer to You and motivate me to seek You each day. 

When I feel spiritually dry, please remind me Lord, that You are the Living water who refreshes my soul.

Teach me to come to You not only when I need help, but also because I want to feel Your presence which gives me comfort, peace, and joy. 

Please help me to pray continiously with every breath and connect with You on a regular basis so I can hear Your voice clearly and build an intimate relationship with You.

I want to be filled with Your Holy Spirit and live in You and You in me. 

In Jesus’ precious name I pray.

Amen.
