Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking For God’s Will To Be Done

Dear Lord, I first want to thank You that You have a purpose for my life. You created me with a purpose to fulfill.

This gives me hope in this life to live it in full and happily.

Jesus, I come to You with all my dreams, hopes, and expectations and asking Your will in all of them.

I thank You for having them and yet I do not want to force my dreams into Your will for my life.

I surrender all of my desires to You and seek Your desire for my life.

I ask for Your guidance in every step I take.

You know better, You are the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

Help me, Lord, to align everything I desire with everything You desire for me.

Let it be, that Your will for my life is the driving factor, and give me peace that I will be able to fulfill it.

Give me satisfaction for I have fulfilled Your will not mine.

Let me reject any temptation to deviate from what You want me to do and do my desires.

I need to walk in obedience to You, Lord.

Let this be the hope and rest I need to become who You want me to be so I can do what You have called me to do.

I pray all this in the name of Jesus.

Amen.
