Today's Prayer

A Prayer Asking Jesus For His Strength In Weakness

Dear Jesus,

I come to You today asking for Your strength cause I feel so weak and not able to work or even do anything of my responsibilities toward my family.

I feel completely weak and emotionally heavy and down.

The physical work of lifting, cleaning, and managing the day-to-day details of my family’s life has taken all my energy.

I feel that I have nothing left to give.

I am holding into Your word the Bible that you give strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak, (Isaiah 40:29) 

Remind me Lord, that it is okay to be weak, because that is when Your great power can work through me.

I trust that You will give me Your strength to get through every hard task I am doing today and every day. 

St. Paul in his epistle to the Galatians reminds me to not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time I will reap a harvest if I do not give up. 

I believe in Your promise Lord, and I will wait for Your rewards.

I want to get more holy gifts from Your hand and invest my time in growing more mature spiritually.

I do not want to cultivate the worldly wisdom and thinking.

I want Your wisdom and Your Holy Spirit fill me and overflow from me to others.

Caring and helping others is my ministry to show people Your love not mine.

I want to be Your representative in this world and fulfill Your purpose of my life.

Thank You Lord, fo giving me this opportunity to serve You in serving others.

I love You Lord, and I give You all the praise and honor now and forever. 

Amen.
