Today's Prayer

A Prayer For God’s Guidance

Dear Lord, We ask that You keep our footsteps firm, on solid ground, and abide in You.

Help us to be consistent and faithful.

Give us Your power to endure the difficulties we are facing, and not swerving to the right or to the left, or being easily distracted by other things that would let us walk away from You. 

Forgive us for every time we have worked hard to be self-sufficient, forgetting our need for You and living away from Your Spirit.

Forgive us for letting fear and worry control our minds, and allowing pride and selfishness to be our attitudes.

We trust in You, Lord, that You will overcome all the traps that are tempting us.

Amen.
