A Prayer for God’s Comfort in Suffering

Dear Jesus my Lord and Savior, I am so grateful for Your loving kindness and compassion.

I know You are with me in the midst of my sorrow and grief.

I know You see and feel everything I am going through.

Please draw close to me in this time of trouble and wrap me in Your warm bosom to feel peace and calmness.

Lord, I invite You into the pain of my weary heart.

Grant me Your compassion and love in my deep entity.

You are a good God.

I know you have a purpose and plan of my life.

Give me the strength and boldness to preach your name everywhere I go.

Use me in Your will and perfect time.

Do not let my pain and sorrow hinder or distract me from serving your Holy Name.

I ask all these things in Your precious name.

Amen
