Holding Onto Hope Through Every Trial (James 1:12)

We read in the epistle of St. James, chapter six, “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him” (JAMES 1:12)

When we confront trials and tragic events in our life, we must not panic but trust God that He will change these terrible trials for our good and for His glory.

We know that Living in this dark and fallen world makes us suffer all the time.

But St. James is reminding us and sharing with us this glorious promise, that we are blessed when we persevere under trial because having stood the trials and the persecutions of the devil, not losing our faith and hope, will lead us to receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 

God will use all things to conform us to the image of Christ. 

Thank you Father God for giving us your Son, Jesus Christ, and creating us in His image and likeness. 

Amen
