Today's Prayer

Prayer for Release from the Bondage of Sin

Dear Father God, Thank you, Father, for providing a way for me to be free from the captivity to sin and its consequences, death, through Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to confront all the evil sprits and their temptations on the cross, and overcoming them for my sake. 

Thank You for your great mercy and grace. 

Thank you for your salvation plan to release me from my enemy. 

Give me the strength I need to reside in Your will and to persevere in living righteously before You. 

Change my heart so I live according to Your percepts out of love and allegiance to You rather than out of obligation. 

May my desires be shifted and aligned with Your will. 

May Your ways be exalted in me. 

I praise Your name, You Lord, and glorify You. 

Amen.
