Let the Holy Spirit Lead Your Thoughts (1Corithians 3:16-17)

The first epistle to the Corinthians, chapter three, St. Paul says, “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple?

Don’t you know that God’s Spirit lives among you. God’s temple is holy.” 

(1Corithians 3:16-17)

We must not let sin control the way we live & do not give ourselves into sinful desires. 

Those who are dominated by sinful nature think about evil things, but those who the Holy Spirit controls think about things that please the Lord. 

Letting our sinful nature control our mind leads to death. 

But letting the spirit control our mind leads to eternal life and peace. 

We must not allow any part of our body to become an instrument of evil to serve sin. 

Instead, give ourselves entirely to God, for we were dead but now have new life. 

We have to use our body to glorify God. 

May Jesus, our Lord and Savior, give us the power in His name over sin and all its temptations. 

Amen.
