Today's Prayer

A Powerful Prayer for Peace in Troubled Times

Heavenly Father, You have planted the seed of life within me and nourished me with the Living Water of Jesus. 

I have everything I need to produce Your grace, mercy, and love for others.

Please show me any areas of my life where my fruit is withering on the vine of sinfulness. 

Root them out and refresh me so I may live up to the promise of Your Word. 

Through Your Holy Spirit who is in me, remind me of all You have promised. 

Please reveal Yourself to me and guide me in every step I take.

I know that You’ve sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to give me life and give it abundantly. 

But still I don’t experience it fully in my spirit. 

One day I am up and one day I am down. 

I still fear from everything around me. 

Please, Heavenly Father, fill me with extraordinary peace that no one or any news, or circumstances take it from me. 

I trust Your word that the peace You give me, transcends all the fearful thoughts and no one can take it from me. 

I am asking You with complete faith that You are hearing me and you will answer me swiftly. 

In Your Son’s name, Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, I pray. 

Amen
