Today's Prayer

A Prayer for God’s Peace and Comfort

Faithful Father, 

You have been so good to me in times of sorrow, grief, or sadness, as You have so generously given me an unexplainable and reassuring amount of comfort and peace. 

Thank you for being so kind and compassionate to me. 

As I enter a new day, I humbly ask that You walk alongside me and draw close as I face the challenges of today. 

Grant me comfort when strong emotions emerge, wanting to take hold and take me under. 

Help me find ways to set my sights on You when I am in need and provide tender ways for me to feel Your loving embrace. 

I am forever grateful for Your unending peace and comfort. 

Amen.
