A Prayer for Taking Every Thought Captive to Christ

Dear Lord,

I know that one of the enemy’s favourite place of attacking me is my mind. 

He loves to get into my head with lies. 

I confess that I opened the door of my mind for him many times. 

But now I come to you to give me the armor of Your Name to protect me from his schemes. 

Guard my mind and help me take every thought captive to You. 

Help me to not live in a scattered way but on a solid Rock that is You. 

When I am tempted to stray in my thinking, help me to renew my mind with the truth of Your word. 

In Your Precious Name I pray. 

Amen
