Today's Prayer

A Prayer to Forgive Others as Jesus Forgives Us

Jesus our Lord and Savior, We thank You for Your abundant grace, giving us Your gift of salvation.

We know that we do not deserve it but You are a good and merciful God. 

You forgIve all our sins in Your precious blood, but You asked us to forgive others as You have forgiven us. 

Please help us in Your Holy Spirit to forgive those who have wronged us. 

Help us to move towards reconciliation. 

We leave  every injustice and abuse that we have been subjected to in Your hands, for You who judges righteously. 

Please help us to remember that You will not forgive us if we do not forgive others. 

We pray that we be filled with Your love, compassion and forgiveness. 

We pray that we be able to humble ourselves and think of other’s needs over our own, and be willing to forgive with the hope of forgetting the offense. 

Help us please Lord, to restore and renew broken relationships, doing our best to live peacefully with everyone. 

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
