Jesus’ Life That Conquers Sin and Death

The Son of God, Jesus Christ, came to take away our sinful nature to restore our image, and to be in His likeness. 

He died on the cross and shed His blood to confront all the satanic works, and He conquered death and sin by His resurrection. 

He gave us His victory and His eternal life. 

To be saved from death, we must unite with the Life that overcomes death, .i.e., Jesus Christ. 

“But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life” (Romans 6:22). 

The life that overcomes death is the life of Jesus, who overcame death by His cross, and proclaimed it by His resurrection “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. 

…I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world” ( John 6:47-51)

To obtain this precious eternal life, we have to believe and confess that Jesus is Lord, to receive Him and let Him dwell in us, abide in Him and obey His commands. 

At that time, you will be "born again" from above, and you have become a new person in Christ. 

We read the second Epistle to the Corinthians, chapter five, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2Corinthians 5:17).
